Few Good bites from Kamakhyanagar

Jagyaseni, a young lady of 20 years with Cerebral Palsy received a vehicle (special scooter) from Rajiv Gandhi Foundation. She has been awarded for her services for children with disability and person with disabilities as well. The vehicle gave her wings to capitalize on skills, abilities and enthusiasm she possessed. Now Jagyaseni is working at a resource centre as a teacher at Kamakhyanagar on behalf of aaina.
On the occasion of International Disability Day (December 3) aaina with support from Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) distributed study materials and winter cloths to 43 children (disabled and socially excluded). BDO, ABDO, BRC of Kamakhyanagar Block and, Principal of the school, Professors of Kamakhyanagar College and Mr. Pradyumna Rath EC and Founder member of aaina were present during the distribution. The funds were raised from the Wish Tree that was put during Child Rights Week at TCS by aaina.
