We Care film fest, a traveling festival with an objective of spreading awareness among masses on disability through the medium of films. aaina has been conducting this festival in partnership with Brotherhood for the past 4 years where aaina invites movies from local artists to submit short films for the competition. Diverse movies reflecting abilities inclusion of people with disability changes perception of masses towards disability. This year 31 films were received and all went for screening at We Care National level.
Oriya film makers through their apposite and impactful productions stole the awards at We care National level. Mr. Santosh Panda becomes the 1 minute category Hero by claiming both the 1st and 2nd prize from his productions "The Vision" and "Never Ever"
Mr. Sourabh Kumar, from IIT Bhubaneswar claimed the 1st Prize in 5 minute category for "The Way It Is". Many Congratulations to the Winners. The award winning movies can be watched on youtube at https://www.youtube.com/user/aainabbsr
